This is really great! c: Way better than I could. A bit of advice (please don't be offended I actually shoot archery), her torso should her perpendicular to the arrow. When she pulls the arrow back, her chest should follow the motion.
I took the frames seperately out of the program and coloured them in Gimp, then put them together as an animation again with windows movie maker After that, I transformed the animation into GIF with a freeware called SUPER
Thank you I really loved it, animation and design was beautiful, the characters absolutely adorable(I especially loved Fergus and the witch-uhm, woodcarver ) funny at times and the relationship between mother/daughter instead of the endless father/son conflicts you see in other movies was refreshing, as well as Meridaīs strong personality and the leaving out of some annoying romance sideplot. BUT. Although I enjoyed the first half hour like crazy, I didnīt enjoy the rest of the movie quite as much. Iīm not saying it wasnīt awesome, but I just expected so much and waited for it so long, I always felt it couldīve been a tiny bit better. I actually hoped there would have been more adventure and excitement in the middle part, the story was quite simple and a bit predictable, I was hoping Merida had more scenes arching, being brave, like I thought her skills as an archer would be one of the keys in the story but it wasnīt. I also wouldīve loved if Morīdu had been a bigger part of the story, so that everything wouldīve become a bit more fierce and epic, if you know what I mean Thatīs just my personal opinion, all in all, I really loved it and I will watch it many more times as soon as it comes out on DVD, but maybe you know this feeling when you were expecting something slightly different. I loved the scene at the beginning when she is riding through the woods with Angus and climbing on those giant rocks( "Touch the sky"-scene) which had such an adventurous and free spirit, I just wish the whole movie had been like that. Sorry for the endless rent, all in all itīs a beautiful movie
No need to apologize!! XD I totally understand and agree, especially with the Touch the Sky scene <3 ! I mean I really really loved the movie, but every movie has to have a downside. For Brave, one of the things I found is that it was unfortunately over hyped by the huge success of Tangled which kind of set the bar really really insanely high. The lack of archery and the role of Mor'du didn't really occur to me until you pointed it out though, and it's quite true, although I suppose I didn't realize it so it didn't really affect my appreciation of the movie. However I did kind of want a bit more of adventure ( again I had high expectations especially after the first climbing scene ) but ah well, I'm still happy with the movie XD I will say, I loved the soundtrack though!
Well for most of the work you can see in my gallery I draw the outlines traditionally with pencil, scan it and colour with gimp The program I used for this animation was Plastic Animation Paper, the colouring done with gimp again.
